We have returned from a trip to Canada and I am now working on creating some photo albums to post our travel pictures. The website is still very simple and a work in progress!
Further we are wanting to go on a new adventure and are starting to really ponder some eco travel conundrums. A cruise is a very poor choice for the environment, and we continue to research what the industry is doing to make this more eco-friendly. Have found some cruise lines that are better than others and also started to explore sail and windjammer. Our other pondering is the carbon footprint of air travel. I continue to see different flights emissions when we search for them on Google Flights. Upon initial investigation this seems to be based on the type of aircraft (size and weight) and its seating configurations. You can see here how Google calculates these. Other ponderings, when is it worth renting a vehicle vs. taking the train vs. short flights. As we think further on these and have other questions, the site will continue to be updated!
